It is a sparkle in an eye, that knowing look, a smile, that one perfect moment that lets you see inside a persons’ soul. This is the moment that I try to capture in my photographs. Whether I am taking snapshots on the street or I am setting up a scene in my studio, the moment of truth in my subject is what I am searching for.
The work that I create is not dependant on a single format or style, the beauty is in the moment. I collaborate with each client to produce a final shot that utilizes my vision and creativity but still allows for my subjects individuality to shine through.
I have found that there are many people who would like to have their portrait taken but they do not want something traditional. I cater to these individuals with photos that have an edge and a dry humor without losing their classic feel. I understand the need for trust and privacy before, during and after a photo shoot. My ability to create a comfortable environment can always be seen in the eyes of my subjects.
